BUILD A MARKETING PLAN
In general, the execution of marketing tactics is the same.  You pick a platform, set up the foundation, create a schedule, execute the tactic, assess the results, adjust, and repeat.

Why Premium Content Matters:

Premium content can consist of detailed ebooks, templates, calculators, assessments, surveys, and other interactive content. In exchange for the content you are offering, the visitor leaves their email address and other identifying information. Premium content is the primary way websites convert visitors into contacts, so you can start the sales process with a real person.

What to Expect from Your Premium Content Efforts:

5x your website visitors to contacts conversion. Results may vary depending on industry and the quality of content.

Before You Start Premium Content, Ask Yourself:

Does my website have enough traffic that I need to do a better job converting visitors to contacts?

Execute your plan.

Premium content is the key to converting visitors into leads. We suggest releasing a new piece of premium content every quarter and linking it throughout your site. More specifically, the topics addressed in the premium content should be the same topics you are discussing in social posts and in your blog. Link the new piece of premium content to the end of your blogs or other places to help turn those visitors into leads.

Assess your plan.

It is important to mix in different platforms and methods when it comes to your content. Try an ebook one quarter, a infographic the next, a video, and/or a whiteboard. Mixing up different distribution methods can help you figure-out which method is the easiest and most fun for you to execute. And, as always, which method generates the most leads.

Adjust and Repeat

Premium content can take a lot of time to develop, and if it falls short, it can be discouraging.

However, without premium content, there is no good way to turn a visitor into a lead. The most important thing to think about is... what would be really helpful for your customer that you can provide at no cost AND your customer would be willing to give you their email and phone number.
