How-to review and update your on-page SEO

Step 1: Open your analysis and editing tools

It is important to have a website editor with access to SEO tools.
Typically, you can click on the gear icon in the page manager and edit page titles, descriptions, and URLs.

2. Select a page to review
Ideally, you are reviewing all of your website pages at least once a year.
- List all of your pages in a spreadsheet or Word/Google Doc
- Number each of your pages
- Work your way from the top of the list to the bottom

4. Download the performance CSV
- Click on the performance tab in the left navigation pane.
- Click on the download icon โค and open in a google sheet.

1. Analyze the CSV export
- Review the data by clicks, impressions, Click-through-rate, and Position.
- Determine which phrases have the most relevance and the best performance.
- Copy and paste these words into a Word or Google Doc.

2. Check keyword difficulty
- Go to a free keyword difficulty tool, we recommend https://www.semrush.com/info/kdt
- Select 5-10 keyword phrases from your CSV sheet.
- Select 5-10 keywords you would like to rank for
- Load the keywords into the tool and

3. Select keywords to target
Find the keyword(s) with the highest volume and lowest difficulty.
