Website Migration Without Losing Your Google Rankings
Moving off Duda, Wix, WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow or Kajabi? We move every page, post and photo to a fast new website, keep the addresses Google already knows, and check them after launch.
In 2026 we moved more than 20 websites off Duda alone, from a 17-page uniform company in Clearwater to a national sign company with more than 200 pages. We explain every step as we go, because a website you understand is a website you can keep improving.
Keep your website or update it. Either way, you get an AI-enabled website.
Why Website Moves Lose Rankings, and How We Prevent It
In regular search results, Google ranks pages, and every page lives at an address. What Google has learned about each address either moves with your site or gets lost. Moves go wrong in four predictable ways, and every one of them is preventable.
Pages Google Knows Start Showing Errors
If an address that used to work now shows a “page not found” error, Google eventually drops it, and the ranking goes with it. Your sitemap is rarely the full list, either.
What we do: build the complete list first, from your old sitemap, every page in Google Search Console, every page in your analytics and a crawl of the live site. When we moved Nu Hair of Texas off WordPress, the sitemap listed 60 pages, but Search Console showed 93 pages earning impressions. All 93 stayed live.
Old Links Point Nowhere
Google, other websites, old emails and even printed flyers all point at your current addresses. Change an address without a redirect, and every one of those links breaks.
What we do: keep the same address wherever we can, and give every page that has to change a permanent redirect to its closest match. On Clients2Homeowners, we captured all 127 old Duda paths before the switch, then verified all 133 redirect rules on the live site.
Blog Posts, Images and Files Get Left Behind
Many builders keep your images, PDFs and videos on their own servers, and some blog feeds cut posts short. When the old subscription ends, anything still stored there disappears.
What we do: move every post, image, PDF and video onto your new site, and keep each post at its old address. Walker Tree Service kept all 74 of its blog posts, and Entertainment Pros kept six years of posts, all 120 of them.
Nobody Checks After Launch
Most moving problems are invisible on launch day. The new site looks great while old addresses quietly fail, tracking stops counting and forms stop delivering.
What we do: test every old address on the live domain, submit your new sitemap to Google and send a real form submission on launch day. When National Sign Team went live, all 181 pages Google had shown in the previous 90 days loaded on day one. Then we run an SEO audit and fix what it finds.
None of this is glamorous. It is a complete list of addresses, a redirect for every one that changes, and a lot of checking. It is also the difference between a move that keeps your phone ringing and one that starts over from zero.
What Each Platform Makes Hard to Move
The address list, the redirects and the launch-day checks are the same on every platform. What changes is where each one hides your images, forms and old pages.
Moving a Duda Website
Duda runs your tracking codes from inside its platform, keeps your images and PDFs on its own servers, and quietly handles some old redirects for you. Its blog feed can also cut posts short.
What we do: copy every post from the live page, move every file onto your new site, rebuild the redirects and reinstall your tracking. Duda also leaves a small helper in returning visitors’ browsers (it is called a service worker) that can keep showing them the old site, so we replace it with one that clears it out.
Moving a WordPress Website
WordPress sites often load images straight from the old host’s upload folder, so pages can break the day the old host goes away. Older versions of the site can also still have addresses in Google years later.
What we do: move every image onto the new site and redirect the old addresses too. Nu Hair of Texas still had links in Google from a version of its site that ran from 2004 to 2012, and 48 redirect rules now send those visitors to the right pages.
Moving Off Squarespace, Webflow or Wix
All-in-one builders keep your pages, forms and booking buttons inside one account, and outside form and booking tools often carry your ad tracking. Older pages can also live at odd addresses with question marks in them.
What we do: list every form, booking link and outside tool before the move, rebuild each one on the new site with its tracking, and redirect every old address, odd ones included.
Moving Off Kajabi or a Member Platform
Courses, member logins, podcasts and checkouts need a plan of their own, because members need access every day while you move.
What we do: keep the old platform running while every lesson, file and checkout is rebuilt and tested on your site, move buyers over, and switch the old platform off only when nothing depends on it. We used this approach to move an 18-lesson online course, with its worksheets and podcast episodes, onto its own member app. We also replaced Memberspace with a member portal for Innovative Mortgage that carries over 100% of the old member text and documents.
Proof From Real Website Moves
Every number below comes from Google Search Console, analytics or our own launch-day checks. Each card opens the full case study.

Nu Hair of Texas
3,632 of 3,633
search clicks kept through the move
A Dallas hair replacement salon. All 93 pages earning search impressions stayed live, plus 48 redirects for an older version of the site.

National Sign Team
212 of 212
known URLs kept
A nationwide sign company based in Tampa Bay. Every address from the old sitemap and Search Console still works on the new 226-page site.

Clients2Homeowners
133 of 133
redirect rules verified live
A resource site for mortgage loan originators. We captured all 127 old Duda paths before the switch, then tested every redirect on launch day.

Walker Tree Service
74 of 74
blog posts kept
A Palm Harbor tree service. Every old Duda address still works, and the owner now publishes new posts himself in My AI Editor.

TNC Uniform & Design
17.6 to 10.3
average Google position (lower is better)
Equal 19-day windows before and after the September 2026 launch. A launch-day speed pass also made the mobile homepage 83% lighter.

Entertainment Pros
147 of 147
old sitemap URLs still working
A Clearwater home theater and AV installer. Six years of blog posts, all 120, kept their original addresses, so only 3 redirects were needed.
A move can do more than hold steady. Millennium Lawn & Landscape saw organic search sessions rise 184% after we replaced its outdated WordPress site and started its SEO program, comparing the 90 days before launch with the latest 90 days.
How a Website Migration Works
You do not need to know the technical side. You should know what is happening and when, so here it is.
List Everything
While the old site is still live, we capture every address from your sitemap, Search Console, analytics and a full crawl, plus screenshots of every page, every form and tracking code, and your email settings.
Plan the Move
Together we decide what keeps its address, what redirects where, and whether you want the same look on a better foundation or a redesign. Page titles that already rank stay put unless you choose to change them.
Rebuild and Compare
We rebuild every page and post on your new site, copy the text word for word, and compare each page against its screenshot, so nothing goes missing.
Review, Then Launch
You review and edit everything on a private preview in My AI Editor. We test every form with a real submission and protect your email settings, then point your domain at the new site.
Check, Then Switch Off
We test the old addresses on the live site, submit your sitemap to Google, and run an SEO audit after launch to catch anything that slipped. Once nothing depends on the old platform, you can cancel it.
What You Get After the Move
A move should leave you with more control than you had before, not a new platform to feel stuck in.
No More Renting From a Page Builder
Your pages become standard web files on fast, modern hosting, not rows inside a page builder’s account. Your domain, your content and every address Google knows come with you. We handle hosting, security and backups, so none of it becomes your job.

Will I lose my Google rankings if I move my website?
Not if the move is done carefully. Rankings are tied to addresses, so we list your old addresses from the sitemap, Search Console and analytics, keep or redirect the ones people and Google use, and check them after launch. Some movement in the first few weeks is normal while Google recrawls the site. Nu Hair of Texas kept 3,632 of its 3,633 search clicks through its move, and Millennium Lawn & Landscape saw organic search sessions rise 184%, comparing the 90 days before its launch with the latest 90 days.
Can you move my Duda website?
Yes. Duda is the platform we move businesses off most often: more than 20 websites in 2026 alone, including National Sign Team, Entertainment Pros, Walker Tree Service and TNC Uniform. We copy every post and file from the live site, rebuild the redirects and tracking Duda was handling, and confirm nothing still depends on Duda before you cancel it.
Do you also move sites off Wix, WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow or Kajabi?
Yes. In 2026 we moved sites off WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow and Kajabi, and we can review a Wix site and recommend the right path. The address list, redirects and launch-day checks are the same on every platform. What changes is where each one hides your images, forms and old pages.
Can I redesign my website during the move?
Yes. Some owners want the same look on a better foundation, like TNC Uniform, whose new site matches its old layout page for page. Others want a fresh design, like National Sign Team, which chose from six homepage directions. Either way the address list and redirects are the same, so a redesign does not have to cost you rankings.
Will my blog posts come with me?
Yes. Every post comes with you, at the same address wherever possible, with the text copied word for word. Walker Tree Service kept all 74 of its posts and Entertainment Pros kept all 120. If you want them to look better, we can redesign the layout without changing a word, as we did for 70 of Walker's posts.
How long does a website migration take?
It depends on the size of the site and how many rounds of review you want. TNC Uniform's 17-page site launched 11 days after we started building. National Sign Team's site, 210 pages at launch, went live about five weeks after the build started.
What does a website migration cost?
Moving a site of up to 100 pages into My AI Editor is $500, or $400 when you start a marketing package, and a hosting plan applies after that. That covers the technical migration, content review, redirects, testing and editor setup. Larger sites are quoted after review, and a redesign during the move is quoted before you commit. Everything is listed on our pricing page.
Will my email keep working during the switch?
Yes. Email runs on its own records in your domain's settings, separate from the website. We change only the records that point to the website, leave your mail records alone and check them after the switch. Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace email kept working through the moves for Entertainment Pros, National Sign Team and TNC Uniform.
When can I cancel my old platform?
Once the launch-day checks pass and nothing on the new site still loads from the old platform. We check for leftover images, files, redirects and blog feeds before we tell you it is safe, so canceling does not break anything.
