Loan originator for home buyers, plus a resource site for loan officers | Lutz, FL

Close With Pam and Clients2Homeowners: One Originator, Two Audiences

Pam Marron has originated loans in Florida since 1985 and works under Innovative Mortgage Services, Inc. We handled the loan officer website design for both of her sites: Close With Pam for home buyers, moved off Duda, and Clients2Homeowners for fellow loan officers, plus an admin portal built around her homebuyer questionnaire.

About Close With Pam

Pam Marron (NMLS 246438) originates loans with Innovative Mortgage Services, Inc. (NMLS 250769) and specializes in down payment assistance, credit help and buyers working through federal student loan repayment. After the 2008 crisis she spent three years working with the CFPB, the National Credit Reporting Association and Senator Bill Nelson's office on a credit-reporting fix for short sales, and from 2016 to 2019 she served on HUD's first Housing Counseling Federal Advisory Committee. Her loan officer website design had to serve two audiences: home buyers, and other loan officers looking for her resources.

The challenge

Why They Came to Us

Close With Pam ran on Duda and served two audiences from one site: home buyers and fellow loan officers.

  • 28 blog posts and established page URLs had to come through the move off Duda intact.
  • Five resource pages for fellow loan officers sat inside a site built for home buyers.
  • Clients2Homeowners.com was not an empty domain: it still held a live 128-page Duda site whose 127 old URLs would break without redirects.
  • Pam's email runs through IONOS on the same domains, so DNS changes had to leave it untouched.
The plan

What We Proposed

We agreed to match the old Duda URLs exactly, carry over her Google Analytics property and set Pam up in My AI Editor. In August we proposed a second site so loan officers would have a home of their own.

  • Keep blog posts at their root-level URLs and old page addresses unchanged, redirecting only pages with no equivalent
  • Carry over her existing GA4 property and set up My AI Editor so Pam can make her own edits
  • Rebuild the loan officer pages on Clients2Homeowners with identical page paths, plus a new home page, an Articles section, contact and two tools
  • When the old 128-page Duda site surfaced, cut over with a full redirect map
The build

What We Built

Close With Pam website

A 59-page static site moved off Duda with every old URL kept or redirected, and a homebuyer questionnaire in the home page hero.

  • 28 blog posts kept at their original root-level URLs, plus 34 redirect rules, including a safety net for old /blog/ addresses
  • An 8-step homebuyer questionnaire (home type, use, timeline, first purchase, credit band, biggest concern, contact) that files a mortgage lead
  • Mortgage calculator seeded with a live rate, a Buyer's Guide, down payment assistance, Florida Hometown Heroes and student loan pages, real estate agent partner pages and a DPA flyer generator
  • Her existing GA4 property carried over through Tag Manager, form submissions tracked as leads, Consent Mode v2, and the visitor's first traffic source recorded on every form
  • Header, mobile menu and footer managed in one shared file, and a dedicated reCAPTCHA key for the domain

Admin portal

A back office on its own private web address, live on launch day and built around the homebuyer questionnaire.

  • Quiz Leads view showing every questionnaire answer, with filters for biggest concern, timelines of 3 months or less, and credit range
  • Mortgage Ready pipeline for buyers who are not loan-ready yet: seven stages, the blockers in the way, a target date and a next action
  • AI intake: drop in a PDF such as a credit report or intake sheet and Claude drafts the record, and nothing is saved until a person reviews it
  • Inbox, leads pipeline, Spam and Blocked tab and blog chooser, in navy and orange to match the site

Clients2Homeowners website

A site for loan officers, split off from Close With Pam and launched Oct 5, 2026.

  • New loan officer home page plus five resource walkthroughs: MLO Resources, down payment assistance, Student Loan Help, Credit Help and HUD Counseling
  • Mortgage calculator with full PITI for Conventional, FHA, VA and USDA loans, seeded with the live Freddie Mac weekly rate
  • Open House and DPA Flyer Builder that exports a print-ready PDF with up to four financing options side by side
  • An Articles section launched with 3 posts, plus about, contact and legal pages
  • Brand colors, fonts and plaster texture taken from the live Duda site, with the texture shipped as a 9 KB tile instead of a 956 KB image

Redirects and cutover

A redirect map that carried every old Clients2Homeowners URL to a live page.

  • 134 redirects: 18 to the same post on closewithpam.com, each one probed first, and the rest to the closest matching page
  • All 133 exact-path rules verified live, and 113 canonical, social, sitemap and schema references moved to the live domain
  • IONOS email records and the Search Console record preserved and re-checked after the DNS change
  • Sitemap accepted by Search Console with 0 errors, and forms verified with a real submission on the live domain

SEO review

A scored SEO audit of Close With Pam with same-day fixes, the start of WES's 90-day SEO program.

  • Structured data added to the 26 of 59 pages that had none, plus BreadcrumbList, WebSite and Organization schema
  • Canonical tags, the sitemap, social preview tags and page headings cleaned up, and an llms.txt added for AI search tools
  • Schema score went from 5 to 14 of 15, measured on the live site with the same script before and after
Problem solving

How We Solved the Hard Parts

  1. Keeping old links working through a Duda move

Every old Close With Pam URL was kept or redirected, blog posts stayed at their root-level addresses, and nothing new was created at a path that would shadow a redirect.

  2. A new domain that was not empty

Clients2Homeowners.com still served a live 128-page Duda site. Before DNS moved, we captured its sitemap and all 127 paths, then mapped each one: 18 to the same post on closewithpam.com and the rest to the closest matching page. Taking that inventory before DNS is now a standing step in our launch checklist.

  3. Changing DNS without touching email

Pam's email lives at IONOS, so we preserved the MX, SPF and Search Console records and re-checked them after the change. When the SSL certificate did not issue on its own, we force-issued it.

  4. Brand colors that stay readable

White text on the terracotta brand color measures 3.10:1, below WCAG AA, so buttons use dark text (4.69:1) and the terracotta lifts to a lighter tint on dark backgrounds.

  5. One site, two audiences

Home buyers stay on Close With Pam, and loan officers get Clients2Homeowners, where the loan officer resource pages were rebuilt with identical page paths, like /mlo-resources, so each keeps its MLO keyword.

Results

The Results So Far

The first review in our 90-day SEO program, on Sept 10, 2026, moved Close With Pam's WES SEO audit score from 62 to 86, measured on the live site with the same script before and after, and its structured data score went from 5 to 14 of 15. The site is run from Pam's side, not ours: as of Oct 20, 2026 the client had made 908 edits through My AI Editor and published 111 times with Take Live, and the same habit carried over to Clients2Homeowners, with 16 Take Live publishes there so far.

Clients2Homeowners launched on Oct 5, 2026 with all 133 exact-path redirects verified live and its sitemap accepted by Search Console with 0 errors. It is too new for traffic numbers, so for now we watch how the redirected Duda URLs settle in Search Console.

SEO scores come from WES's scored audit run on the live site before and after fixes, edit counts are My AI Editor commits counted on GitHub, and every redirect was requested live on the production domain.

Questions

Questions About This Project

How do you move a loan officer website off Duda without breaking old links?

We match the old URLs. On Close With Pam every old URL was kept or redirected, the 28 blog posts stayed at their original addresses, and her GA4 property carried over.

Can I keep editing my site myself?

Yes. Close With Pam has 908 client edits through My AI Editor and 111 Take Live publishes, and the same logins carried straight over to Clients2Homeowners without new invites.

What if my domain already has an old site on it?

We inventory every old URL before DNS moves. Clients2Homeowners.com still held a 128-page Duda site, so we captured all 127 paths and mapped them with 134 redirects before cutover.
