Creating Winning Proposals
Instead of wrestling with formatting in Word, use the "Paste in Text" method to create a stunning proposal in under 5 minutes.
Choose "Paste in Text"
From your dashboard, click Create New. Instead of "Generate," select "Paste in Text." This allows you to control the exact wording while Gamma handles the design.
Select "Document" Mode
Gamma will ask what you are making. Select "Document"(or "Webpage"). This breaks the content free from the slide format, creating a scrolling, easy-to-read layout perfect for business proposals.
Refine the "Cards"
Before the AI builds the design, it will show you how it plans to break up your text into sections (Cards). You can combine sections or split them here to ensure your pricing table and terms sit on their own distinct cards.
Use the AI Chat Sidebar
Once generated, don't stop there. Open the AI Chat sidebar on the right. Highlight a section and type: "Make this pricing table look more professional" or "Change this image to a modern office building." This is where the polish happens.
Boosting Your Social Media Game
Gamma isn't just for business docs. It creates mobile-optimized content incredibly fast.
Select "Generate" & Choose "Social"
Start a new project and select "Generate." When prompted for the format, choose "Webpage" but look for the aspect ratio settings. You want to aim for vertical layouts.
Prompt for Visuals
In your prompt, be specific about the platform. Type: "Create an educational story about 5 tips for first-time homebuyers, optimized for Instagram Stories. Use bold typography and minimal text per card."
Export as Images
Here is the trick: You don't send the link to Instagram. Go to the Export menu (three dots in the top right) and select Export to PDF or Export to Images. Now you have a carousel ready to upload directly to your social platforms.
