How to Write Faster Using Voice to Text on Any Computer

Justin Babcock • October 29, 2019

Do you hate typing? Do you struggle with writing? Then this week's tip is for you.

Voice to text turns your skill of talking into the written word. Simply hold down the Windows Key + H for PC users. On a Mac, FN FN. Try it in any text box and use your microphone instead of typing. Save time on emails and write blogs in minutes by using voice to text.

Watch the video below for more detail.

We're not all writers, but we all are experts in our field.

You know more about your business than anybody else. That's why writers just don't sound like you.

Here's a little trick to help you become the expert and the writer.

You can dictate into any text box on a Mac by pushing the function key twice (FN FN) on a PC hold down the Windows button and push the H button.

Let's try it out.  Click FN FN, and I can start using speech to text. If I slow down my pace a little bit, I don't have to worry about any mistakes being made by voice recognition.

But if I start to talk a little bit quicker in the voice recognition doesn't quite keep up. But I can always go back and fix it.

So, if you're a lot better talking about your business and you are writing about your business this tip is for you.
