You are trying to post your first video to YouTube, but there are a lot of options. And you are a little uncertain about what to do.


We get it. So, we created
step-by-step instructions to help.


Step-By-Step Guide


Go to your YouTube Studio, https://studio.youtube.com/


  • Click on the create icon , click on upload videos
  • Click on select video
  • Click on select the video file you created in the previous step
  • Complete the upload form
  • Enter your title
  • Enter your description and add a link to your website (see video for more detailed instructions)
  • Choose a thumbnail
  • Select a playlist
  • Select no this is not made for kids
  • Click on more options
  • Enter tags
  • Set language is English
  • Set date to today
  • Location is [your Google My Business Listing]
  • Click next
  • Click on the add button next to end screen
  • Click on the square where it says plus element (import from last video)
  • Click on Save
  • Click on next
  • Click on public
  • Click on Publish
  • Copy the video link to your notes so you can use it in social posts or other marketing platforms.
