Edquiddity: a live booking hub and studio, with a new site and app staged

Edquiddity helps K-12 schools and districts build learner-active classrooms through virtual and on-demand professional learning. About Edquiddity

Edquiddity is a Naples, FL company that sells professional learning to K-12 schools and districts: facilitated Virtual Learning Communities (VLCs), on-demand Professional Learning Essentials (PLEs), and MyQPortal, a subscription library for teachers and school administrators. Its sister company, IDE Corp., delivers in-person and remote consulting, and one small team markets both brands. This education website design project covers four connected builds.

The challenge

Why They Came to Us

In June 2026, Edquiddity needed two things at once: an ad page that turns interest into a booked call, and a plan to modernize MyQPortal. Their weekly marketing and the main site came next.

  • Their Professional Learning Essential, Teaching Through the 6 Ps of PBL, needed an ad page with one job: book a call with a consultant, through a Calendly-style scheduler with qualifying questions.
  • One small team markets two sister brands every week: a PD Pulse newsletter, a Facebook and Instagram post every business day, and a LinkedIn Article for administrators.
  • MyQPortal's library of 806 resources ran on an older site that could not show who used which resources.
  • The main site runs on Duda, apart from everything else we were building, and needs to move without losing old URLs, posts, program pages and PDFs.
The plan

What We Proposed

We took each need as its own focused build and made each one something their own team can run.

  • A booking hub at my.edquiddity.com with one page per ad, starting with /pbl, and a single call to action: book a free consultation.
  • One Content Studio for both brands, shaped around the weekly newsletter, with approvals inside the studio instead of by email.
  • A Duda-to-Vercel move with clear defaults: every page keeps its URL, every outside platform stays linked, and SEO is protected, fixing only what is plainly wrong.
  • For MyQPortal, a full requirements spec, a site map of the whole library and a home-page concept before any app code.
The build

What We Built

Booking hub and ad page

Two live pages at my.edquiddity.com, a general booking hub and the 6 Ps of PBL ad page, sharing one custom scheduler.

  • A Calendly-style scheduler in plain JavaScript: weekdays up to 60 days out, 30-minute slots from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM Eastern.
  • After picking a time, visitors answer a short form on role, school or district, state and team size, plus PBL stage and interest on the ad page, so the consultant arrives prepared.
  • The ad page walks through the six Ps, a click-to-load video overview, who it is for and what teams walk away with.
  • Self-hosted fonts, WebP images, and brand green and teal sampled from the wordmark.
  • Both pages are editable in My AI Editor, and each future ad gets its own page.

Content Studio for two brands

One Content Studio runs Edquiddity and sister company IDE Corp. from one address, with a tab for each brand.

  • A content plan built to their rhythm: Thursday-start weeks, a Facebook and Instagram post every weekday, one LinkedIn Article a week for administrators, and one blog post.
  • Pulse mode turns the week's PD Pulse newsletter into the week's message, reads its linked pages and PDFs first, and aims the blog post at a search query they nearly rank for.
  • One 8 AM weekday reminder email lists unapproved pieces for both brands, and a Monday email suggests topics from Search Console data.
  • Facebook and Instagram publishing is connected for both brands, and each piece can go out automatically or by hand.
  • IDE Corp.'s photo library was seeded with 442 images from its existing website.

Main site rebuild (staged)

A Duda-to-Vercel rebuild of www.edquiddity.com, staged and waiting on the DNS cutover.

  • 69 pages rebuilt from measured captures of the live site at desktop and phone sizes, including 21 program pages pulled whole through the Duda API.
  • 107 permanent redirects ready for cutover, covering legacy WordPress paths, Duda URL rules and upper and lower case variants.
  • Each of the 21 program pages gets its own title and description, and all 69 pages carry schema markup, Google Tag Manager with consent settings by region, and My AI Editor.
  • The PLE recommendation quiz keeps feeding the client's own Google Sheet, and the VLC session calendar embeds their public Google Calendar, so staff keep editing sessions where they already do.
  • Motion matched to the live site by measurement: 61 fade-ins, 16 slide-ins and 325 hover zooms.

MyQPortal member app (staged)

A requirements spec, home-page concept and new Next.js and Supabase app for their subscription library, staged in the client's own accounts.

  • Every resource ID crawled to inventory all 806 resources with zero errors, plus 1,192 Common Core standards, in a site map workbook.
  • A spec of more than 150 numbered requirements: four access tiers, usage reporting each district must opt into, a demo tier, and accessibility and privacy requirements.
  • Roles for super admins, district and school admins, educators and demo users, with invitations and CSV roster import that respects seat limits.
  • A super-admin CMS with a controlled taxonomy and an Unclassified view, so an untagged resource can no longer drop out of browse.
  • Google sign-in, optional two-factor sign-in, saved collections, typo-tolerant search, and in-app videos and podcasts with transcripts and captions.
Problem solving

How We Solved the Hard Parts

  1. Duda would not hand over the site

Its export held 7 pages and no post bodies. We pulled the 21 program pages whole through the Duda API, captured the rest page by page, and recovered missing posts, 27 of 38 missing images and 9 of 14 legacy PDFs from Wayback Machine copies.

  2. Hundreds of old addresses

We merged a crawl, the sitemap, 16 months of Search Console data and GA4 history into one inventory of 412 addresses. In the staged rebuild, old pages, posts and PDFs that still drew search impressions or visits redirect to the closest live page.

  3. A library the old portal partly hid

The old browse view skipped any resource missing a tag, so it showed 676 of 806. We found all 806 by checking every resource ID, wrote a requirement that browse must match the published library, and built an Unclassified view into the new CMS.

  4. Editors who should not get every request

Their consultants needed to edit the pages without being copied on every booking request. We added a lead-recipient setting to WES's shared form service, so editor access and lead email are separate.

  5. A newsletter that is mostly links

Their PD Pulse issues point to articles and PDFs. The studio keeps those links and reads each linked page and PDF before it writes, so posts cite the exact URLs.

Results

The Results So Far

Live today: the booking hub and 6 Ps of PBL ad page at my.edquiddity.com, and the Content Studio, which made its first live publish on August 27, 2026 and added IDE Corp. as its second brand on September 21. Staged: the 69-page main site rebuild, waiting on its DNS cutover, and the MyQPortal app, built in the client's own accounts but not yet on myqportal.com.

We are not showing traffic or lead numbers yet. After the cutover, we will watch Search Console for the old addresses the rebuild redirects, along with consultation requests from the scheduler.

Stats are build counts from project records (the October 2026 URL inventory, the studio setup and the June 2026 MyQPortal crawl and spec), not traffic or lead results.

Questions

Questions About This Project

Is the new www.edquiddity.com live?

Not yet. The rebuild is staged with all 69 pages and 107 redirects ready, and the main site stays on Duda until the DNS cutover. The booking hub, the ad page and the Content Studio are live today.

Can one Content Studio run two brands?

Yes. Edquiddity and its sister company IDE Corp. share one studio address with a tab for each brand, one weekday reminder email for both, and Facebook and Instagram publishing connected for each.

Who owns the MyQPortal app?

The client does. The code, hosting and database sit in IDE Corp.'s own accounts, where the new app is staged and not yet on myqportal.com.
