The client

About Valerie Woo Consulting

Dr. Valerie Woo is a board-certified pediatric dentist who consults with dentists on running and growing their practices. Her Valerie Woo Consulting site presents programs for dentists, including The Dental CEO Academy and the Mastermind Mini MBA, along with keynote speaking and a blog on practice growth and her own story. This dental website design project carried that content over from Duda page for page.

The challenge

Why They Came to Us

Her site ran on Duda, with courses, offers and checkouts on a separate Kajabi site.

  • The Duda sitemap listed 33 URLs and left out 10 live pages, including program pages.
  • Duda loaded blog post text with JavaScript and its blog feed was truncated, so a plain copy would have missed content.
  • Her Google Workspace email had no SPF, DKIM or DMARC records.
The plan

What We Proposed

We proposed a faithful rebuild, not a redesign, proven page by page, with a custom course platform to follow.

  • Rebuild the 28 pages and 15 blog posts as a static site and keep every URL.
  • Prove the match page by page with side-by-side screenshots, not by eye.
  • Move the forms in-house to WES's lead pipeline, then run our 90-day SEO program at Day 0, 7 and 30.
  • Move the courses off Kajabi to a custom platform with video on Cloudflare Stream, a discussion thread for every lesson and on-site Stripe checkout.
The build

What We Built

Website

A 44-page static rebuild of drvaleriewoo.com on Vercel, live September 2, 2026, with nothing left depending on Duda.

  • 28 site pages, a blog index and 15 blog posts, with every legacy URL still answering on the new site.
  • Each rebuilt page compared side by side with the live Duda page for missing copy, headings, images and videos before launch: no unexplained content loss on any of the 28 pages or 15 posts.
  • 17 videos re-encoded from 443 MB to 142 MB with the posters she chose, and site images cut from 48 MB to 5 MB as WebP.
  • Every form posts to WES's lead pipeline, and the thank-you only shows once a lead is actually accepted.
  • SPF, a 2048-bit DKIM key and DMARC added at launch, and the site is connected to My AI Editor for page edits and blog publishing.

SEO program

The Day 0 and Day 7 passes of our 90-day SEO program, taking the WES SEO audit score from 63 to 94.

  • Structured data Google can read: breadcrumb trails on 40 interior pages, course details on 7 program pages and a profile of Dr. Woo.
  • Every title under 60 characters, every description present and within length, and all 214 images with dimensions and alt text.
  • A branded 404 page, an llms.txt file for AI search tools, and a sitemap built from the pages that actually exist.

Course platform (in development)

A custom course platform at my.drvaleriewoo.com to move her courses off Kajabi, still in development, with its public page showing enrollment opening soon.

  • 8 modules and 53 lessons ported from Kajabi, each with its own discussion thread.
  • 36 knowledge checks hidden inside lesson bodies rebuilt as working quizzes, with 180 questions and explanations.
  • A six-word overlap check found no unexplained content loss across 53 lessons, 54 Kajabi-hosted images are self-hosted and 64 dead links were rewritten.
Problem solving

How We Solved the Hard Parts

  1. Quizzes the export missed

Kajabi's export listed 8 modules, 58 lessons and one final quiz, but not the 36 knowledge checks written into lesson bodies in four different script formats. Copied as is, they would have shown up and done nothing. We rebuilt all 36 as working quizzes.

  2. Duplicate lessons with different videos

Kajabi showed locked previews by keeping five draft copies of Module 3 lessons inside Module 2. The text matched but the videos did not, so a blind cleanup would have kept the wrong video. We kept the published lessons, removed the drafts and made the locked preview a database rule, taking 58 lessons to 53.

  3. Program pages missing from the sitemap

The old sitemap left out 10 live pages, several of them program pages. We built the URL list from a crawl, the old sitemap, Search Console and GA4, checked every URL on the new site, and now generate the sitemap from the pages that exist.

  4. Email nobody could verify

The domain sent Google Workspace mail with no SPF, DKIM or DMARC. We added all three during launch, including a 2048-bit DKIM key, so mail from her domain can be authenticated.

  5. A call to action that changed site-wide

When her main call to action changed in October 2026, we replaced 72 links across 44 pages and rewrote the headings, meta descriptions and mid-sentence links that still promised the old offer.

Results

The Results So Far

The new site went live on September 2, 2026, and scored 63 out of 100 on our launch-day WES SEO audit. The Day 0 fixes took it to 90, and by the Day 7 check it was 94, with no over-length titles, missing descriptions, images without alt text or pages without schema.

The course platform is in development, and its public page shows enrollment opening soon. Until it opens, her courses stay on Kajabi. Next we watch search as Google recrawls the new pages.

Scores use the WES SEO audit rubric, out of 100, re-measured on the live site on September 2 and September 9, 2026; page and media counts come from the migration records.

Questions

Questions About This Project

Can you move a Duda site without losing pages?

Yes. For Valerie Woo Consulting we rebuilt all 28 pages and 15 blog posts, compared every page with the live Duda site before launch, and kept every old URL working.

Will my site look different after the move?

It doesn't have to. Dr. Woo's site was a faithful rebuild: the home page stayed within 2.5% of its original height, and the side-by-side check found no unexplained content loss on any of the 28 pages or 15 posts.

Can you move an online course off Kajabi?

Yes, and we prove the content made it across. On her new course platform, which is still in development, a six-word overlap check found no unexplained content loss across 53 lessons.
