Hair restoration and non-surgical hair replacement center | Phoenix, AZ

National Hair Centers: a hair restoration website with an AI preview tool

National Hair Centers has helped Phoenix men and women with hair loss since 1975, with hair systems, wigs, laser therapy and transplant referrals. We moved their 120+ page site off Duda without changing its URL structure, then added an AI hair system preview, an admin portal for their leads and a Content Studio, and we manage their Google Ads.

About National Hair Centers

National Hair Centers is a hair restoration and hair replacement center in Phoenix, serving the Valley since 1975. They offer non-surgical hair systems, wigs, trichology, laser therapy and transplant referrals to an affiliated physician, and women make up about 40% of their hair system clients. That range made this hair restoration website design project bigger than a website: one site, one ad account and one lead system have to serve men and women from their first question to a booked consultation.

The challenge

Why They Came to Us

National Hair Centers had a 120+ page site on Duda, with 100 blog posts, consultations booked in Calendly and Google Ads already running. Moving all of that is more than a design job, because every URL, image, form and booking link has to keep working.

  • 135 of the site's images were still served from Duda's own servers
  • Women are about 40% of hair system clients, so the site and ads had to speak to women as clearly as to men
  • Buyers search plain words like toupee and hair patch, not the industry's term, non-surgical hair replacement
  • Hair loss is personal, so client results had to be shown without naming anyone, and health claims had to stay modest
The plan

What We Proposed

Our strategy plan set the message: 50 years of expertise, a full range of hair loss options, and a first consultation where people leave understanding their choices.

  • Rebuild the Duda site page for page on a static site, keeping Duda's URL structure
  • Give women their own path through the site and their own ad campaign
  • Add an ad angle built on no membership, no contracts and local ownership since 1975
  • Use the words buyers actually search, like toupee and hair patch, in ads and landing pages
The build

What We Built

Website

A static rebuild of the Duda site that kept its URL structure, then grew to more than 130 pages.

  • 23 core pages on day one, then 100 blog posts, with Duda's URLs kept exactly so the site launched with only 14 redirects
  • All 135 images moved off Duda's servers and hosted with the site before launch
  • A navigation redesign with a mega menu, a slide-in mobile menu, and Women as a top-level section with six new pages
  • A Real Results gallery of 152 client result photos with filter tabs and a keyboard-friendly lightbox
  • Schema for the business, physician, reviews, videos and FAQs, plus a Google rating and review count that refresh weekly

AI Hair System Preview

Visitors upload a photo and get two AI renderings of themselves with a hair system, by email, in about two minutes.

  • A few quick questions plus a photo, with photo checks and an automatic retry built in
  • Google's Gemini model returns two realistic renderings
  • Every preview request is saved as a lead, with its own AI Previews view in the admin portal
  • Embedded on the homepage and the Phoenix page, with a full page of its own

Booking and conversion tracking

Consultations booked in Calendly now report back to Google Ads and GA4 from anywhere on the site.

  • Booking links open Calendly on the page instead of a new tab, carrying the ad click ID and campaign tags
  • One conversion per booking, with a guard so ad landing pages never count a booking twice
  • Tested end to end on the live site in August 2026
  • Bookings flow into the admin portal and HubSpot, log to a Google Sheet, send an email alert, and report to Google Ads when the ad click can be matched
  • Forms protected by reCAPTCHA v3 and a spam screen, so blocked spam never counts as a conversion

Admin portal

A private portal where every lead lands and follow-up runs on a schedule.

  • Leads board with Spam, Cold, Warm and Transplant Referral columns
  • Men's and women's six-step email follow-ups, where a click in any email moves the lead to Warm and starts a book-a-consultation sequence
  • Transplant referral check-ins emailed to the affiliated physician and the owner on a schedule
  • Consultation prep emails timed to each booked appointment, missing phone numbers filled in automatically, and a daily follow-up digest for the owner
  • A Google Reviews board that queues current clients for a review ask and posts owner replies to Google

Content Studio

A content workspace where we plan and publish their articles around five pillars.

  • Five content pillars drawn from their real search data and services, led by why hair loss happens
  • Blog posts publish straight into the website
  • Brand voice rules that keep health claims modest and never promise regrowth

Google Ads

Campaigns built around the words buyers actually type.

  • A women's campaign and a no-membership, no-contracts ad angle (July 2026)
  • A plain-language campaign and landing pages built around toupee and hair replacement cost searches (October 2026)
  • Real client photos in place of stock images in the ads
  • Negative keywords, a conversion action cleanup and a daily check that conversions are still firing

SEO

Our 90-day SEO program, starting with a full audit and fix pass on the live site.

  • WES SEO audit score raised from 80 to 95 in one fix pass
  • Titles, descriptions, headings and internal links tightened, with social sharing cards on every page
  • Breadcrumb schema on 135 of 136 pages and an llms.txt file for AI assistants
  • Hair system pages reorganized so each search topic has one main page, led by a new guide to the first consultation
Problem solving

How We Solved the Hard Parts

  1. Moving 120+ pages off Duda without breaking links

We kept Duda's URL structure exactly, so the site launched with only 14 redirects. All 135 images moved onto the new site before cutover, so nothing still leaned on Duda's image servers.

  2. Getting Calendly bookings into Google Ads

A booking link that opens Calendly in a new tab loses the ad click, so the booking never reaches Google Ads or GA4. A site-wide script now opens Calendly on the page, keeps the click ID and fires one conversion per booking.

  3. Buyers and the industry use different words

People shopping for hair replacement search toupee, hair patch and men's wig, not non-surgical hair replacement, and in Phoenix the plain words get far more searches. We built a plain-language campaign and landing pages around them.

  4. Showing real results without naming clients

The Real Results gallery uses 152 client photos from an earlier version of the site. We gave every photo a neutral file name and a generic description, so no client is named anywhere in the gallery.

  5. Bookings arriving without a phone number

Calendly can attach a booker's phone number up to about 45 seconds after it sends the booking. A job runs every 15 minutes and fills in the number from three places in the booking, so the team has a number to call.

Results

The Results So Far

Real web form leads for January to September 2026 are up 59% over the same months of 2025, once 136 spam entries are taken out of last year's count. Our September SEO pass raised the WES SEO audit score from 80 to 95.

We review their marketing every two weeks. Next we are watching how the plain-language pages and the new first-consultation guide turn searches into booked consultations.

Leads come from the client's form records with spam removed, and the audit score from WES's SEO rubric run on the live site before and after fixes.

Questions

Questions About This Project

Can you move a Duda site without changing its URLs?

Yes. For National Hair Centers we kept Duda's URL structure exactly, so the 120+ page site launched with only 14 redirects, and we moved all 135 images onto the new site before launch.

How does the AI Hair System Preview work?

A visitor answers a few questions and uploads a photo. About two minutes later they get two realistic AI renderings by email, and the request lands in the admin portal as a lead.

Can Calendly bookings show up in Google Ads?

Yes. On nationalhair.com, booking links open Calendly on the page instead of a new tab, keep the ad click ID and fire one conversion per booking. We tested it end to end on the live site.
